Whether you’re into hiking, camping, hunting, splunking/caving, riding OHVs or horses, picking mushrooms and huckleberries, or even snowshoeing and snowmobiling, you’ll find something fun to do here. Cougar RV Park is your base camp for all kinds of outdoor adventures.

We are a small business operated by a husband and wife team, we do not have employees. Therefore, we "DO NOT" spend much time sitting in an office. We seem to always be doing projects, helping campground guests, cleaning the facilities or running errands (we too must grocery shop, attend to doctor appointments, pick up campground supplies and camp store items, etc.). So if we do not answer the phone, please leave your message clearly, including a callback number and we will return your call.

For several years Steve and Stacey tossed around the idea of owning an RV Park/Campground. Knowing they wanted a lifestyle change, it was time to make their dream come true.
May 1, 2018, marked the beginning of that dream and a new adventure as they became the new owners of Cougar RV Park & Campground.
Purchasing the RV Park/Campground in Cougar appealed to them as they both enjoy fishing, boating and hiking. Steve also enjoys hunting while Stacey enjoys photography and reading. Along with Steve and Stacey came two additional new residents, Hercules and Molly, their loving and faithful dogs who enjoy napping and belly scratches. They have big plans for the RV Park so feel free to stop by and say hi. And of course, camp!
UPDATE MAY 2019: We just celebrated our one year "RV Park/Campground" anniversary!!! Looking back over the last year, we have made many new friends and met some wonderful people from around the world!
We are excited about the progress and changes we have made and plans for the future. We know the changes we have planned cannot happen overnight, but each day we get a little closer! We hope to make more new friends this year and to continue providing the best service possible!
UPDATE MAY 2024: We just celebrated our sixth year of ownership. We have upgraded many tent sites to now include electricity, updated the shower stalls, expanded the camp store and many other changes. We no longer allow long-term (residency) stays but do have a few limited spots available for traveling nurses and other traveling workers to the area. Guests who return every year have noticed significant changes/improvements and have provided feedback to help guide us to where attention is needed. We still have many projects we want to tackle and are working each day to get them completed! We'd love for you to come and stay with us and see for yourself the changes we have made!
